We’re A Very Special Practice
At Fertility Center and Applied Genetics of Florida, Inc., we pride ourselves on providing the most advanced treatments in assisting patients with reproductive problems. Some call our practice "unique" because we purposefully control our patient volume in order to ensure everyone gets the individual attention they deserve. Infertility consultation and treatment can be very stressful. However, we strive to eliminate as much of the stress as possible by keeping our patents well informed during each step of the process and making sure all questions and concerns are addressed in a timely and compassionate fashion. Patients need to be aware that the Bonita Springs office functions as a satellite office for consultation, testing, and monitoring of our fertility patients. All major procedures are done in Sarasota.

In addition, there is an andrology and cryobiology laboratory. FC & AG of Florida's diagnostic andrology and endocrinology labs are accredited by the state of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration. The labs are C.L.I.A. registered and comply with the American Assoc. of Bioanalysts' guidelines for quality control. The IVF lab complies with state and National requirements.
Our Embryology Team
We’re Proud of Our Successful IVF Program
Since our beginning in July 1998, more than 50% of our patients have achieved a pregnancy. Individual chance of success depends on the age of the female partner and the specific diagnosis. Patients younger than 34 have an over 60% chance of pregnancy in a single attempt. Our office has achieved this with less than 1% triplet or higher order pregnancies. A couple's individual probability of success depends chiefly on the youth and health of the female partner's eggs. A very successful IVF program also depends on a cohesive team of talented physicians, surgeons, and embryologists. Our team of embryologists has a combined experience of over 20 years.
Our Anesthesiologists
Both our IVF patients and our outpatient tubal reversal patients receive treatment with the assistance of Board Certified Medical Doctor Anesthesiologists from The Anesthesia Group of Sarasota (TAGOS) anesthesia services. This is the same team of anesthesiologists from Doctors Hospital of Sarasota and from the Same Day Surgery Center.
Sarasota has one of the best outpatient tubal reversal practices. Patients have come from all over the U.S. to have this procedure with Dr. Pabon. He preformed his first microsurgical tubal reversal in 1990. Now, 20 years later he is one of the most experienced microsurgeons in the world. During the past 20 years, success has been in excess of 50% in patients less than 40. Very importantly, there have been no significant complications. Since Dr. Pabon established his private practice, no patients have required hospitalization after a microsurgical tubal reversal. Our safety record is unmatched
